The Wechselsystem DAR-15 LAW from DAR Germany is a conversion system for Cat. B semi-automatic rifles and is manufactured entirely in Germany at our site in Fraureuth. It is chambered in .223 Rem (with Wylde chamber). The 10.5" barrel (contour "Heavy Barrel Light") has a 7" twist (6 grooves, right-hand). The barrel is finished using the Tenifer QPQ process and carries a 11° Varmint crown. The 1/2"-28 UNEF muzzle thread holds the DAR A2 Flash Hider. Power comes from a direct-impingement gas system (direct impingement, carbine length); the gas volume can be fine-tuned via the DAR Low Profile gas block 750, Gen2, front-adjustable (16 clicks). The build comprises the upper receiver "DAR Advanced", the DAR bolt assembly, the DAR charging handle (gas-deflecting, ambidextrous) and the handguard DAR M-Lok 9". The surface is black hard-anodised. The conversion system ships in the DAR case. Developed and manufactured 100% in Germany – made in Germany.
