The DAR-15 M5 Individual from DAR Germany is a Cat. B semi-automatic rifle, manufactured entirely in Germany at our site in Fraureuth. It is chambered in .223 Rem. The 16.75" barrel (contour "Heavy Barrel Light") has a 8" twist (6 grooves, right-hand). The barrel is finished using the Tenifer QPQ process and carries a 11° Varmint crown. The 1/2"-28 UNEF muzzle thread holds the DAR Heavy Tex Comp. Power comes from a direct-impingement gas system (direct impingement, rifle length); the gas volume can be fine-tuned via the DAR Low Profile gas block 750, Gen2, front-adjustable (16 clicks). The build comprises the upper receiver "DAR Advanced", the lower receiver "DAR Advanced", the DAR bolt assembly, the DAR charging handle (gas-deflecting, ambidextrous) and the handguard DAR M-Lok 16". The equipment is rounded out by the stock Magpul UBR, the grip Magpul MOE, the trigger WPNTEC MIMIR Str. Curved and the safety DAR Safety Selector (ambidextrous, 90° & 45°). It ships with the Magpul PMAG 10 magazine and the DAR Ambi Magazine Catch; the weight with magazine is 3,710 grams. The surface is Cerakote "Flecktarn Nacht". It ships in the DAR case. Developed and manufactured 100% in Germany – made in Germany.
